Lam Oi Yi, Evelyn

Miss Lam Oi Yim Evelyn grew up in Hong Kong and studied at the Diocesan Girls’ School and the Lawrenceville School in New Jersey in USA. She obtained a degree in Business Administration in University of Hong Kong, and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP Law School in the United Kingdom and a Master degree in Law (Common Law) in the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Miss Lam is the Deputy General Manager for Lai Fung Holdings Limited in Guangzhou and a Director of Zhongshan Bao Li Properties Development Company Limited, a property development and investment company in China. Previously she worked in Reed Smith Richards Butler, Ching & Co., Solicitors, Crédit Lyonnais Asia Pacific and Goldman Sachs in the legal and financial services sectors, and had positions in.

Miss Lam is prominent in volunteers and charity work. She is involved with the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong as well as the Social Welfare Department of Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the China Candlelight Educational Fund. She is also the honorary advisor of the China Candle Light Educational Fund which helps school building projects in deprived areas of the mainland.

She is an active member of the Hong Kong United Youth Association, the Y. Elites Association Limited, and the Centum Charitas Foundation. Evelyn is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English and has studied French, Latin and Japanese.

Miss Evelyn Lam plays ice hockey competitively in the Hong Kong Ice Hockey League and open tournaments for pool in Hong Kong.
